Stopping SOPA hasn’t stopped them; all the alternatives to MegaVideo dont upload content anymore & torrents seed to leech ratios are screwed!
I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be running to VideoBB, begging it to have Fringe on it!
Or attempting to will VideoIzer to have the latest 30 Rock episode on it….
Or even be willing to put up with NovaMov’s 20 odd adverts, including that fucking annoying Dragensang one with the dramatic music, JUST so I can watch Artie from Glee claim that he has the “moves like jagger”? (questionable from a wheelchair, Artie?)
What have you done to this world SOPA and the US government? What have you done where leeches are 20% higher than the seeds on a torrent! What do you want me to do? Wait til it comes out on TV here on the UK…. pay for a digibox? PAY… PAY…. you want me to wait a year til it’s on DVD at HMV…. not that HMV will be here in a year! Screw you SOPA. Screw you… I bet it’s you who created that Dragensang commercial… yes, it was you… interrupting everything I watched was a small annoyance. I’d have to exit full screen mode, pause what I was watching, find which advert box you were in and mute you… sometimes I’d have to do it twice because you’d start again…. but now… now I’d give ANYTHING to have that back. What have you done to me SOPA? What have you done!
I had a MegaVideo account! Yes I paid €30 so I could watch whatever I wanted on MegaVideo, and it was oh so good… no adverts, no pop-ups, high-quality streaming better than any other of it’s competitors, and now it’s gone. Ripped from my arms. Ripped so fast and swiftly, like the moment you tell a child Santa Claus isn’t real…. you’ve done this to me… and now I’m an empty shell of a man. An empty shell which spends hours upon hours looking for a link or a torrent, where before it took 5 minutes, you have broken me SOPA…. you have broken me!
Let’s be honest, we must have watched Artie gurn about a thousand times over trying to get past that fucking obesity ad and the optivex eye mist to get around the fucking problem.
